I used to have a welsh sec b gelding called billy, he was palomino.
Here are some name ideas:
Palomino: Crumble, Flyer
Grey: Magic, Wiggle, Charlie
Bay: Ozzy, Hades, Spartan
Chesnut: Nutty, Biscuit, Ginger
Cremello: Dreamer, Oscar
Piebald: Bumble, Bunny
Skewbald: Freddy
Btw these names aren’t for certain colours it’s just the names I thought of when I thought about the colours.

there’s a pony at my stables called Lord Lucas Dante ( stable name Dante) who’s a Welsh b. a now retired pony who used to be at my stables ( also welsh b) is called Squirty. I think there both super cute names! When naming a pony ( I’ve never named a real one but I’ve named loads of toys) I think you should think about what it’s like and what it’s going to do. Also I would recommend going for something slightly out of the ordinary. I mean there’s a lot of greys called Snow, blacks called Star and chestnuts called Ginger. So why not something to make people remember it. I love making up names for ponies I’d like to have when I’m older and imaginary stables. Some of the names I’ve made up are: Danceing Butterfly, Flickering Flame, Summer Serenade, Rise higher Songbird, Summer Dew, Wisper of the Night, Full Moon, Summer Dancer, Twighlight Dancer ect ect ect……….

Lucky you having two horses! I know one person with two! Allthough I’ve only seen one of them! I do weekly lessons at the best stables ever and mounthly pc which I love. Also I have reasantly started helping out at my yard which I’m sooooooooo enjoying!!!!!!! Although the other day I poo picked so much I got a blister!!!!!!!! What are your horses like. Fast, slow, greedy, cuddly? What colour? I can get a loan when a pony in my stables that fits and would work comes up. There’s sort of only one! Smile at the judge
Keep calm and carry on if you get confused
Enjoy it
Learn it suuuuuuuuuper well
I’ve only done two dressage tests as I mostly jump in my first one I got 62% and 8 for halt and in my second I came 6th ( which was my first rosette) and got 68% one dressage test I tried to do got snowed of and it was my first one!😡 I might do some online dressage soon and freestyle to music as long as it doesn’t interrupt my jumping.
also my tips for a speedy pony doing sj would be
Always keep contact and control
Keep your canter bouncy and balanced

Hey!! i am 12 and I have 2 horses,
I have one Clydesdale mustang mix that is 15.2 hh and one Arabian quarter horse mix that is 14.3 hh
I live in America. Would anyone like to be friends?? I do cross country with my Arabian quarter horse and western pleasure with my clydesdale mustang 🙂 I do lessons twice a week and help out at the barn on the weekends.

My advise on jumping higher would be:
Set yourself a goal for instance by the end of this year I will be able to jump 95cm
Talk to your instructor about it
Find out if there’s anything stopping you from jumping higher for instance control, your pony refusing, confidence and try to improve on that
Also even if your not ready to do higher courses mabey try just doing one jump putting it higher and then you would have jumped higher even if your not ready for it in courses I’m jumping 75cm courses now but I want to be jumping 95cm by the end of the year I know I can jump that high cos I’ve done a single jump that high but I want to do that in courses 🥇🏇🏻

I completely understand why you might miss your old riding school as when I moved riding schools I used to miss my old one even though I adored the new one however now I’m unimaginably GLAD I left my old one and don’t miss it at all!!!😀
It’s ordinary to miss your old one while your settling in but instead of thinking I miss my old one just try and get completely joined in with your new one.
Find a pony/ponies you love to ride, make loads of friends, join ponyclub or whatever your new school does and you will probably find your growing more and more attached to your new one now I feel I’ve been in my current one forever.🌈
Also you can always keep contact with your old one like go and visit the ponies if your aloud🐴
I hope you settle into your new one and have loads of fun💖

I own a grey horse, saddle pads are so satisfying, all of mine and Sydneys stuff is mint and navy, jumping is my fav, I have an ink blue pro lemieux saddle pad, I love riding bareback and jumping bareback with no reins
