I am always trying to get my parents to buy stuff for my pony too so I know how frustrating it is. Try doing jobs round the house in exchange for money ex: hoover the living room= £2… and keep working your way up. Also try not to go too expensive, if it is a £60 saddle pad then your parents will probably think that there is no need for it so hv a look at second hand ones or cheaper ones. I once asked my mum for this really pretty blue matchy set and instead she got me a pair of snow boots (as a main present for xmas !) So don’t ask your parents for anything too expensive outright.

To get your horse to trust you more just spend time with him/her. Lunge it grooming and treats and everything. Anyway that’s how I got mine to trust me!

Hey Horsey People! marina kiser, I don’t have any advise but you should watch Heartland, it’s a great show and the one character Amy Fleming works with horses so that show is sure to have some good tips!
Hey everyone!! So I was wondering, how do you get your parents to let you buy a horse/pony? I want one SO BAD but my parents won’t get me one. They are thinking about it though.. please help!!!
I also lease so I get to ride once a week with that too, so leasing is a good option too.
Well what I do is I work at the horse farm so I can get a free riding lesson every 5 times I work, so you could do that. If your parents don’t like that idea remind them it will teach you good hard work skills and things like that for the future!
P.S have you ever read Canter Wood Crest books they are one of my favorites!

Hi! I need some advise… my horse is great but when we go to practice in the dressage arena Star (my horse) always gets spooked by the trees and darts out. Any ideas on how to control her better?

Whenever your sisters aren’t around give her a nice groom or go on a relaxing hack or just simply talk to her. Just spend time with her whenever you can.

Brown ponies have so many options, they look great in all colours such as Bright Red, Dark Blue, Lime Green (my cousin has a brown pony and he looks stunning in lime green), Even purple can hit the right note, Pink, White, Yellow !, etc…
Any vibrant colours will look stunning !

My personal fave saddle pad color for a brown horse would be red, pink, or purple. Maybe try those on Lolita.

hi! i had a jumping lesson today, and we were only jumping 4ft, and rosie decided she was going to swerve out at the last minute! anyway she hit the jump wing, decided she was going to bolt and when she had stopped, she did a massive shake! i hate it when she shakes because it feels like she is trying to rattle your teeth. also my pony, which i won Olympia on(not the shetland thankfully, the other one!) is coming home after being on loan for a year. she is black, and she is called little whitch.
(it is a fitting name, as we were going round that course in front of thousands of people, she was bucking!)

Hi guys My Riding Instructor has 2 ponies, (a mare and a gelding) she recently got a third one, (a gelding) and the other gelding she had before is getting really jealous of the new pony and being really protective of the mare and it’s kind of a problem. Any idea how to fix this and make them all get along?
