In the second book of the Holly Hopkinson series, we join Holly and her family as they continue trying to adjust to life in the countryside. Things should be easier now that Holly has her magic pocket watch, which gives her the ultimate powers of persuasion. But, every time she uses it something seems to go horribly wrong.

If that wasn’t bad enough her countryside best friend, Daffodil, has become far too cosy with Felicity Snoop – the village’s meanest resident. All this and Holly still has to find time to manage her brothers band, The Cool, find a singer, help her parents rescue their struggling careers, navigate bad school reports and find the perfect location for a brand new film.
