 Issie Brown is rocking the eventing circuit with her pony Comet, but no matter how hard they try they just can’t get their dressage up to scratch and they don’t often come home with rosettes. Avery, Issie’s instructor, is determined to teach them but Issie’s heart just isn’t in it – she’s not sure what’s fun about mastering schooling exercises.

Issie’s opinion on dressage will have to change when she heads to Spain to collect her beloved stallion, Storm, though. Storm has spent years being trained at the prestigious El Caballo Danza Magnifico stables in the art of haute école – classical dressage – Issie’s worst nightmare! Even worse, she must learn to master the tricky movements before she can take Storm home. She’ll be learning on the gorgeous Andalusian schoolmaster, Angel, before being allowed to take up Storm’s reins.

But El Caballo Danza Magnifico is in trouble. Someone’s stealing their top mares, but who? Is it their old enemy Miguel Vega? However, when Issie learns the truth it’s far more dangerous than she could have imagined and she’ll have to get creative to help save not only the mares lives, but her and Angel’s, too.
