Hi EllieHoney28, one way is to start off with no stirrups and then transition to no saddle once you’re ready. I also don’t know your situation but it can REALLY help to get the hang of things on a horse that’s both comfortable and has smooth gaits. As well as having somebody lunge the horse so you can really focus on your balance.
Hi, i love riding but i struggle with bare back trotting.
Does anyone have any tips?
Thank you!
Hey everyone. I’m in need of some advice. I lease a 13.2 hh 14 year old mustang pony named Charlie, and we do some local equitation/hunter shows with our barn , usually monthly. Right now we are competing a course of 4 2ft crossrails – but it’s easy for us. The thing is that the next “level” is a course of 8 2ft 3inch verticals. We really need to move up, but Charlie has been at the barn for 5 years and ridden buy riders way more advanced then me and he’s never made it around the course. We’re schooling around 18inch verticals at home and doing pretty well, but I need some tips in being able to increase the height – any tips are appreciated and sorry if this didn’t make sense!
hi emma, I have a 13.2 welsh section C pony who loves to jump but has had time off since having his hocks injected, but he absolutely loves to jump!😁😄😃.

Anyone know how to get pine sap out of a horse’s mane?
Hi ponyhugs123, I am sorry about poppy😭 but what has happened is now in the past, a good thing is to start looking at new horses on horsequest or ehorses
best of luck finding a new horse

I’m doing a tetrathlon soon and I’m a bit nervous about the gate. Any tips? 🙂
Cool. I also have weekly lessons and I ride either a Welsh section A called Diamond or a cheeky Exmoor called Bill.
The other day I went hacking and rode a Norwegian Fiord(don’t know how to spell it)🙂
Does anyone else LOVE Alex Rider?!
hi i ride a 13.1h light bay called Domingo
Hi Ponyhugs123,
I don’t really have any tips but I just really wanted to say I’m sorry about Poppy. I know how it feels. She will always be in your heart.

Hi,I was wondering what PC displine is everyone’s fave? I like tetrathlon and XC best!!!!! 🐎
hi ponyhugs123,
it is awful that your pony had to be put down, i feel so so sorry for you. my horse had died on a cross country horse in front of around a thousand people. it was the worst moment in my life. try and think about all the happy times you had together. remeber it is fine to be sad.
i hope this helps,
from,
lovemyponyxxx
p.s. i am coming out of hospital next week!
Hi!
Does anyone have dreams about horses?
Hi, I’m new here lol. I have weekly riding lessons and I ride a 15hh Blue Roan called Rosita. 🙂
hey naomisparkle, a good way to stop the pony over jumping is to maybe start small and work your way up, another way is to lunge your pony over the jumps, hopes this helps🍀🤪🥇

Hey Guys!
My gorgeous mare, Poppy, had to be put down yesterday evening due to a stroke.
I am finding it so hard to get over this and adapt to it.
Any tips? 🙁
Also, how can I make the transition from pony to horse?
I have begun to outgrow ponies and have been riding some horses but I find them so much harder to ride.
Thanks in advance,
PonyHugs123

Ask you’re yard manager if you can loan him for a day.

A bit of advice for a over jumping horse is:Lead her. You will find some on ground exercises, and work up to a trot pole. Don’t lunge her, and turn her out a lot. Get her a horse ball and it might help 😋
