PONY Short Story Competition

It's the great PONY Mag short story competition!

If you’re looking for something to do on the weekend or while you’re away from your fave pony, then look no further. Why not enter our short story competition to be in with a chance of featuring in PONY mag?

What you need to know

• Stories must be 700–1,200 words long.
• Your story must be your own original work – this means it’s your own idea and you have written it yourself.
• By entering you agree for PONY magazine to edit and reproduce your story in print and online.
• There are two categories – 9 and under, and 10 and over. There is no lower age limit for entries. The upper age limit is 16 years old.
• All stories must begin with one of the three opening sentences provided in the magazine.
• If your story’s about real-life events, anyone mentioned must have agreed to you including them in the story. By entering you agree that this permission has been sought and received.
