1. The Saddle Club – released in 1988

This series is a total classic, which was made even more famous by the TV series filmed in Australia. The Saddle Clubfollows Carole, Stevie and Lisa at Pine Hollow Stables, where they get up to all sorts of mischief at school and the stables. Packed with drama and excitement, this series is a must-read whether you’ve seen the TV show or not.

2. My Secret Unicorn

    1. – released in 2002

Join Lauren and her undercover unicorn, Twilight, on all kinds of adventures – all the while keeping up Twilight’s appearance as a normal pony. Join Lauren and Twilight as they help friends and perform daring rescue missions in Linda Chapman’s 15-book series. Adventure, mystery and magic – this series has it all!

3. Pony Club Secrets – released in 2007

If you’re a big fan of PONY Magazine, you’ll probably already be familiar with Stacy Gregg’s Pony Club Secrets series. These super-cool books are all about Issie’s adventures in New Zealand with her ponies Blaze, Comet and Storm. There are 13 books in the series – plenty to get your teeth into – and the series has even been made into a TV show on CBBC called Mystic.

4. Canterwood Crest – released in 2009

With 20 books to its name, Jessica Burkhart’s Canterwood Crest follows Sasha Silver through her time at Canterwood Crest Academy, which is an elite school full of super-competitive riders. Find out how Sasha makes it onto the school’s equestrian team despite fierce competition and enjoy all the drama that follows. You won’t want to miss this one!

5. Tilly’s Pony Tails – released in 2009

Written by famous event rider Pippa Funnell, Tilly’s Pony Tails is all about pony mega-fan Tilly Redbrow. Learn all about her mysterious gift for communicating with horses and watch as she finds out more about riding, training and caring for ponies at Silver Shoe Farm. Each story contains really useful advice from Pippa and the first four books even have audiobook versions read by Clare Balding!

  3. I love Tilly’s pony tales best there really cool and Pippa funnle and Rachel blackmoor are my fave riders anyhow I love all the ponieness in Tillies pony tales there so interesting
