Carrot stretches

Carrot stretches are a bit like yoga for your pony! They’ll keep him flexible and help him become more supple when you ride. Using a treat can encourage him to do the exercises correctly because they act as a tasty reward for him when he gets them right.

What will you need?

  • carrots or a hand-held lick
  • a flat, non-slip surface
  • headcollar
  • gloves to protect your fingers
  • boots and a hat
