Has your riding school come out on top?

The Equestrian Business Awards was launched in 2020 with the aim of raising the profile of small equestrian businesses and professionals throughout the UK, and it’s already received huge support from some of the industry’s biggest companies. There are 14 different award categories, from Equine Dentist of the Year to Riding School of the Year and everything in between. The awards have quickly picked up momentum and this year more than 5,000 nominations were received – amazing!

The incredible Team Tutsham Charitable Trust, based in Kent, has won the Riding School of the Year award for their remarkable work providing disadvantaged children with the opportunity to learn to ride, care for ponies and socialise with others. Katy Wright, the founder of the awards, was thrilled to announce the winners and said of the winning trust, “they offer so much more to children than just riding lessons.”

Team Tutsham is like a big family, and they welcome everyone with open arms – no matter their background or age. They strive to educate children about pony care as well as encourage personal development. Rebecca Hardy from The Equestrian Business Consultant, who sponsored the award, explains that “Team Tutsham are extremely worthy winners who demonstrate how much impact a great riding school can have on the wider community when run with a passion to make a difference,” – and we couldn’t agree more!

Congratulations to Team Tutsham – keep up the fantastic work!

Do you have a fave small equine business that’s your go-to for the best horsey products or services? Or is your riding school worthy of winning an award? Keep an eye out for when the 2022 nominations open to cast your vote at equestrianbusinessawards.co.uk
