Redwings’ popular online show is back for 2021!

Redwings Horse Sanctuary has brought back their super-popular online show for 2021 – and there’s a very special guest judge!

With lockdown meaning Redwings Horse Sanctuary can’t run its usual fundraising horse show this year, the charity’s instead asking owners to show off their pets – of all shapes and sizes – in online classes. Not only that, but YouTube sensation This Esme will judge the Happiest Hacker class, which is all about enjoying a chilled-out hack with your equine best pal. The show’s also hosting virtual dressage classes for this first time, which will be hosted by E-Riders.

Redwings Show organiser, Jude Palmer, said: “We’re delighted to bring back our popular online show and are very grateful to This Esme for helping us with the difficult task of choosing winners from gorgeous photos of happy hacking!

“While we’re disappointed to cancel our in-person show again this year, we hope our supporters and showing fans alike will still have fun preparing photo entries for the Redwings Show Online instead.

“For the first time, we also have virtual dressage classes, hosted by E-Riders. The classes allow owners to take part in dressage classes from the comfort of their yards, while supporting our rescued horses, ponies and donkeys. Plus, in true Redwings Show Online fashion, dogs will be included in the fun, too, with a special Doggy Dressage class – where owners and pooches can strut their stuff!”

Equine photo classes include Heavenly Horses, Perfect Ponies and Cracking Cobs, plus Cutest Pet, Funniest Photo and Best Fur Family offer the perfect chance to get all your pets involved!

Entries for the online show are open now and will close on Sunday 20 June. Entries cost £3 and entries for the dressage classes will be £12. Winners will be announced on Redwings’ social media channels the following week, so look out for your photo!
