Nominate your fave yard to be Yard of the Year!

Voting is now open for the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards. Does your yard deserve to win?

The SEIB Yard of the Year Awards celebrates yards for being great at training, teaching and horse care. They have categories for best small riding school, large riding school, full livery yard, DIY livery yard, best Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) riding school and, for the first time in 2022, there’s a category for competition venues, too.

Once nominations close, the judges will make a short-list. Each yard will then be asked to create a short video to showcase what makes them super-special. The shortlisted yards will then be invited to the SEIB Awards ceremony in July 2022, where the winners will be announced.

To win, the yard must be fab at competition, training, horse care, marketing and business. The judges will also look at how friendly and helpful the yard is to help them make their decision.

SEIB Marketing Manager Nicolina Mackenzie said: “SEIB have insured livery yards and riding schools for decades and are proud to support the industry with these awards. The inclusion of the competition yard of the year award in 2022 is something we are looking forward to. At SEIB we know that there are many yards, venues, centres and riding schools that provide an outstanding service, and we want to recognise and highlight their skill and commitment.”
