Newmarket Pony Academy set to Launch in 2021

Newmarket Pony Racing Academy

While Newmarket might be the home of UK horseracing, there are plenty of young people in its home county of Suffolk who’ve never even touched a pony before! So, the British Racing School has been working hard with local schools, councils and charities to create the Newmarket Pony Academy (NPA). The academy’s designed to give children of all ages and backgrounds the chance to meet ponies close-up for the first time. They can attend courses that’ll teach them all about ponies, plus help them gain confidence and resilience along the way. School children can even attend NPA courses as part of their classes! And, for those who show a really keen interest in ponies, the NPA also offers the opportunity to learn all about how they can get into the racing industry one day.
