Fundraise the PONY way this Red Nose Day

PONY-Red-Nose-Day-2023

Sorted your fundraising ideas out for Red Nose Day? If not, don’t worry as we’ve got it covered. Team PONY’s got a list of totally pony-related ideas you could do this Red Nose Day, and getting your fave furry bestie involved is a must too!

Bake sale – making some scrummy cakes or cookies for the yard is always a sell out to raise money, and let’s not forget you can put a cool pony twist on it too! Check out our makes and bakes section of the website and have a go at our unicorn cookies or Willberry Wonder Pony biscuits and add a red nose to them! We’re sure they’d go down a treat!

Fun ride – why not challenge yourself and a friend(s) to a fun ride? Whether it’s hacking around your normal route or challenging yourself to go somewhere new or ride for longer, you’re bound to find some people to sponsor you.

Yard jumble sale – No doubt you and other yard members have various horsey things you no longer need, so why not sell them? Whether it’s tack or riding clothes, there’s nothing to stop you holding a jumble sale at your yard and all the money raised can go to Red Nose Day!

Pony wash – a bit like a car wash but without the wheels! Offer your pony washing services around the yard in return for some pennies. There are bound to be plenty of mucky ponies in need of a good clean!

Obstacle course – build a pony-friendly obstacle course in your arena with the idea that anyone who wants to take part pays a fee. You could have some obstacles to bend around, drop gloves in a bucket, ride your pony over some poles and, if you’re feeling brave, even add a small jump at the end!

Pony quiz – organise a pony quiz with your friends or at your yard. You’re bound to come up with some great questions and get lots of people involved – maybe even into teams if there’s enough!

Red Nose treasure hunt – hide a load of Red Noses around the yard/fields and see how many of them people can find – whoever finds the most Red Noses wins! Be sure to hide them where your pony can’t reach them though, just in case he fancies a nibble – cheeky.

Clear round jumping – a bit like the obstacle course, riders pay money to have a go at the super cool clear round jumping course you could set up at your yard – set it at the height riders feels most comfortable at and that way everyone can have a go!
