Exciting adventures at Burnham Market Horse Trials!

Get ready! The FEI Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International Horse Trials is back from 11-13 April 2025, and it’s going to be an amazing few days filled with horses, top riders, fab competition, and loads of fun things to do!

Burnham Market has been hosting this fantastic event since 1999, and some of the very best riders in the world come to compete here. Many have even gone on to win medals at the Olympics and European Championships! They love riding on the exciting cross-country course designed by Alec Lochore, filled with amazing gallop stretches and fun cross-country questions for the horse and rider combinations to tackle together.

If you love watching horses and riders working together, you’ll have the perfect view at Burnham Market to watch the show jumping and cross-country. But that’s not all! There’s so much more to enjoy than just watching the eventing. The shopping village is packed with cool equestrian goodies, from riding gear to tasty treats for ponies. And if you need a break from all the pony action, you can watch exciting falconry displays, cheer on speedy terrier racing, go on funfair rides, and even meet some Woolly Warriors!

The best part? Burnham Market is really close to the beach, so after a day of watching amazing horses and ponies, you can head to the seaside for a paddle and some delicious fish and chips!

The gates open at 8am, and the competition starts at 9am on Friday and Saturday, and 8am on Sunday. You can get tickets online or buy them at the gate.
