Become a Horsey Hero with Redwings

While the doors remain closed to visitors at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the charity has come up with a fun and creative way to continue connecting ponies and young people. It’s created a series of free interactive talks that are all about ponies! Aimed at children aged 5-11, the REDTalks will teach them all about Redwings’ ponies and the work of the charity, plus they’ll have the chance to discover what it takes to keep a pony happy and healthy so they can become a Horsey Hero! Children will also get the chance to take quizzes, meet a member of the Redwings staff and ask questions about some of the charity’s well-loved adoption stars ! Charlotte McMorran, Redwings’ Education Officer, said: “As schools are facing more weeks of virtual learning, we hope our fun talks will inspire a new generation of animal lovers to find out all about the work of Redwings and how to care for our equine friends.”
