Badminton Horse Trials 2021 Cancelled

The team at Badminton Horse trials announce the cancellation of this year’s event

 It’s with great sadness that Badminton Horse Trials has announced its decision to cancel the event for the second year running. With the beginning of 2021 still looking so uncertain despite vaccine rollouts, its organisers have reached the conclusion that, due to the large scale of the event, it’s not possible to secure the surrounding area from risk. Badminton must think of its local community first, and this is the right decision to support them.

Jane Tuckwell, Badminton Director said: “I’m sorry that the 2021 event has become unworkable despite our best efforts, but I am so grateful to all those that have offered support and encouragement over the past few months.” Badminton thanks all its athletes, owners, sponsors, volunteers and supporters, and looks forward to welcoming them back for another brilliant event in 2022.
