2021 BE Pony Development Squad announced
British Eventing (BE) has revealed the horse and rider combinations that will be joining the British Eventing Pony Development Squad this year. To qualify, riders must be in the year of their 12th to 16th birthday, and their pony has to be between 14hh and 14.2hh. The exceptional young riders who qualified this year have met the competition performance criteria for their age group – they must be qualified to compete at CCI2*-S.
The chosen riders will receive training so that they can represent Great Britain at the European Championships in Strzegom, Poland, 11-15 August 2021. The Pony Development Programme also supports the young riders as they work towards the National Pony Championships, held in 2021 at Belsay International Horse Trials.
Well done to all those who qualified!
