Ruby’s parents are both international dressage riders, so it isn’t surprising that she has loved horses since the day she was born. But even though she enjoys riding her parents’ horses, Ruby’s interest lies in another equestrian sport: vaulting!
When she joins a vaulting club, Ruby throws herself into her new and exciting pastime, making new friends and learning new skills. It isn’t long before her hard work pays off, and she’s making a name for herself as a talented vaulter.
But Ruby finds it impossible to give up her riding, and when she’s offered talented horses to compete, the dressage bug continues to bite.
But then tragedy strikes and rocks her world. Ruby finds herself re-evaluating what she really wants to do with her life, and where her destiny lies.
Can Ruby continue to compete at such a high level in both vaulting and dressage? Or will she have to sacrifice one for the other? If so, which discipline will win her heart? And can Ruby’s chosen career help her to keep a promise – a promise made to someone to whom she owes so much?
