i have a support worker called Esther who has two Irish Connemara ponies called Orla and Nelly and i used to groom, muck out,feed and i actually led Orla around the outdoor arena.

Hi #Giggle! Are you #Georgie too or was that a coincidence? Anyway, I just experienced the same thing- losing my BPF (Best Pony Friend). He is being loaned to someone else- and that someone wants to buy him. My parents say we still have to sell him, and I was very depressed- not only that he is being loaned, but he is going to be sold! (I was recently in a bad riding accident and broke my humorous bone- needing surgery.) And I can’t ride until the middle of April. My tip for you is to spend as much time as possible with him. Instead of sitting down and watching something, go be with your pony! Also, to #Georgie, talk to your parents. Or maybe talk to the owner! You never know. But if that isn’t possible, read PONY mag, Young Rider, Blaze, and other horsey mags. It helps. When you think about positive things instead of negative, it makes a difference. (Also, what I did with my pony right before he left was to make a scrapbook- with all our favourite memories. You can also take some pics with him to go in it.) I hope you feel better! I know losing a pony is difficult. One pony lover to another, you will survive.💙
