    Hi Kerri!
Maybe ask someone to trot her up and down the yard?
She might limp or just bob her head when she sets one foot on the ground.
I want to be a vet so please tell me if this worked.

hi littlewelshpony, my op is for tetralogy of fallot( in human language, a hole in my heart) and it is open heart surgery which involes your ribs being wrenched open!! i have to learn to walk every time i have an op which is horrible. my dad had a major heart attack, at halloween! it is SO spooky that it was on halloween!i think Liberty has had a saddle on before as she has really bad saddle sores, though i don’t think mystic has ever seen a saddle before.😧i hope my op goes well to! in my second op, when i was 3, i woke up in the middle of it!!! talk about traumatising! thanks

    P.S.do you like school?

  3. Hi lovemypony. What’s the op for? I
hope we can meet up sometime so I can meet your ponies. I really hope Liberty recovers properly. Do you know if they have been worked into tack and riding before?

I didnt catch what happened to your dad. Is he OK? Hope your op goes well.

hi guys, i have a friend at school who has had a few lessons at a really bad riding school, and is now looking for her first pony. she has asked me for help but it is really dificult; she thinks she knows it all, she doesn’t want a mare or a skewbald, piebald, grey, or roan pony. i have told her that it doesn’t matter what colour a pony is but she won’t listen. she also doesn’t want a cob because she thinks they are ugly, which is SO not true. neither of her parents are horsey and she isn’t prepared to travel for more than half an hour! she keeps asking if she can ride rosie, which is really annoying because she is a total beginer and rosie is pretty highly strung. i have tried not to be mean to her, but she is so difficult. she is a stroppy…mare at times! we found a perfect new forrest pony in an advery, and it was affordable. she dismissed it because it was roan!!! please help me. thanks

Hi Ponyhugs123, you can get some short sleeved ones in coral and mint on Decathlon (I have both) or if not then there is equi thème they are not very cheap but if you have a look on Vinted they have tons of those for sale second hand. I have bought 2 equi thème base layers from Vinted and I love them. If not then try looking up Girls half zip jogging/sports tops on Amazon or ebay or something (that’s what I do most of the time 😂)
    Hope this helps

I don’t know if you already tried, i love the way purple goes on Piebald, and red too. I rode a piebald with purple and she looked amazing ! If you haven’t already checked those ones out, i suggest them.

hi littlewelshpony, liberty is a 14hh conemara, with a star and 3 stockings. mystic is a 15.2 conemara, and because he is a grey, he doesn’t have any markings. this morning mystic was so cute: i asked him if he wanted liberty to get better, and he tossed his head!!! he is so naughty. liberty is a mare and he is a gelding, they have made such a nice adition to our growing herd of ponies and they have settled in really well. i love pony club secrets too, those books are definitley going to come to hospital with me when i go to have my operation in may! have you ever had an op? i have had 6!!! Arr!!
    thanks, from lovemypony

  13. Hi everybody!
Does anyone know where I can get a relatively cheap but good quality base layer? Preferably with thumbholes but don’t worry if not. Also, if anyone sees any charles owen riding hats for sale please let me know 🤗 just when the ground is drying up and I am able to ride a bit more again, I outgrow all my kit 🤦‍♀️ Thanks in advance! 14. Hi lovemypony. I love how you’ve named them after Issie’s ponies in Pony Club Secrets – I love that series!!! I am so glad it’s all turned out OK for you, and we need some details! (Size, markings, gender)

I always expected to have my first gallop in a nice, gentle place like Wardour Castle, in a big feild on a gentle slope. But on the 4th (Thursday), we were out riding, my mum on her horse, me on Spud and my twin on her bike. We had just come out of Wincombe Woods, and 6 BONKERS dogs came whizzing around the corner. They scared the HELL out of Spud. He spun round into Maisie, my mum’s horse, and then galloped in a wild panic for aaaaaages. Normally Maisie is the spooky one, and she was totally chill! She just came along because Spud was going crazy! We were going to do Wingreen this weekend, but I am not so sure anymore. I am such a scaredy cat!

hi guys, we have been to see the vet and it is a hairline fracture, so liberty is on box rest for around 3 months. i am really pleased, allthough it is 2 more horses two poo pick after! dad says that our fields are going to be full of rescue horses by the time i am 18! at one point, me and my family had 7 horses, and that was 7 fields to poo pick, and 7 stables to muck out, and 7 horses to exersize. the list of jobs was endless.what do you feed your horses? my competition horses are fed a lot of oats, because they are pretty lazy!!!

  17. Hi guys,
It feels like I’m constantly writing on here, bit does anyone know what xc colours look good on a piebald??? Nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas let me know

  18. Lovemypony, that’s fab!
    Congratulations

  19. Hi daisy_rosie_adventures. What about giving her feed whilst you are picking our picking her feet? Then she will hopefully to distracted by the food. We had this problem with my pony, but we worked through it by picking up his feet multiple times through the day.m, instead of just once a day. Also, don’t be afraid to be firmer with her and tell her who’s boss. Hope this helps.

Hi, does anyone have any ideas on how to teach my pony to lift her feet up. She lets me lift her back feet up fine but when I try to lift her back feet she always paws the ground or tries to bite me. Does anyone have any ideas?

  23. lovemypony!! says:

hi, i’ve phoned the blue cross…
and it apears that we have two more horses in the field!!!! the owner has been charged, because they were 100% neglected. i have named the grey Mystic, and the black one Liberty. mum is fine about it, as we don’t have to worry about paying for feed as we are sponsored by baileys. we are taking Liberty to the vet tomorrow to see how bad the wound is. i am so glad they are ok, and that i can sleep at night! thanks so much for your advice, i really apreaciate it.

    Hi lovemypony
OMG it made me gasp to hear about the cut in the horse!!!

  25. NaomiSparkle says:

Hi lovemypony, Wow it sounds like you are dealing with alot. Ok, so now that you have checked them over and are sure that they are neglected I would suggest that you email a charity nearby and at least let them know about them. Then ask if it would be ok to give them a bit of feed and stuff because sometimes if you are looking after the horse then the charity is not actually allowed to do anything so ask them first. Please let me know what happens with them as I would love to own a horse sanctuary one day and I love these kinds of stories. Afterwards you could even email it to PONY Mag to see if they would put it on the real life drama story! So please let me know how it all goes and I hope your dad gets better soon.
