hi, chesnutdunny2 I will try it thanks for the help I’m going to go try it now. k.m#skewboldpony I will also try what you said thank you for the help also has anyone got any tips on showjumping as it’s my fave thing to do but with such a big break of riding I’ve got to back on track.
Hi horseandponymad541, it’s so hard not being able to ride, but why don’t you turn lockdown into a positive? I’ve been doing some exercises on the stairs by trying to keep my heels down for 10 seconds and maybe do some horsey crafts? I’ve been binge reading pony mag 🤪 picking out loads of tips! Hi 👋 Mycheekypony, it is weird that your pony lifts up his front hooves up when he eats, one of the horses 🐴 at the stables I go to does the same Apparently your horse being a herd and prey animal prefers to keep moving especially when eating as it is very vunerable time and the pawing and leg lifting helps relieve the anxiety. I also have a pony called Sonic, as you can see in my name, and he is a thoroughbred pony and i need colour sugestions. Does blue go well? Or bordeaux red? Please could u help.

I’m also a bit nervous for going back to riding but I tend to find thinking about all of your fun old memories I’ve made from riding in the past really helps me look forward to it. But also dont worry, getting stressed can make it seem worse than it is enjoy. When you get back on a horse, be glad that you can ride again dont think about how long it’s been since you’ve last ridden the best ways I find for confidence is to build a good bond with the horse or pony and most of all have FUN =D you can do it 😉 I hope this helped, sorry if not and sorry it’s so long!!!😂

hi K.m#skewboldpony, its so sad you can’t see your two geldings! there are some websites where you can create some collages and you could make some of your horses, and you could also do some crafts i’ve ripped up some old magazines (but you could also use newspaper), drawn a shape of a horse and stuck the pieces of paper in the lines. hope this helps!

So sorry to hear that you can’t see your ponies. Maybe you can try and play some online horse games? Like howrse or horse Eden. They both are great games. Also maybe you can try and do some horse art, like drawing pictures, making frames and putting in some pictures of your two geldings!?

I think baby pink or lilac ( light purple)would go with a strawberry roan horse, even if he/ she is male! I have a cute little skewbold pony and he doesn’t mind his rug with some pink on😂 I hope that helped! Also when jumping and the horse feels like its going up you have to lean forward and move your hands further up their neck then when the horse goes back down again, sit up and balance for the landing. I’d suggest starting with some little cross poles until you get the feel for it and then- if you feel confident enough- gradually increase the hight you are jumping👍I hope that helped!
