Behind-the-scenes with Phoebe Peters!

Phoebe is superstitious – she has a lucky pair of spurs and believes that years ending in an odd number are lucky!

Lucci adores attention! He has even been known to scrape the ground if other horses are getting attention instead of him!

2015 was the last year Phoebe can ride at pony level, as she is now too old. What a way to finish her pony career – with a Gold Medal!

Phoebe has owned Lucci for four years, and in that time that have won eight medal competing for Great Britain! Not bad going!

Phoebe has a new ride named Denford Surprise, whose stable name is Parker. He is 17.3hh! Just a bit bigger than Lucci who is 14.2hh.

Lucci loves to stick his tongue out! He has been caught on camera doing it several times – including during prizegivings!

Phoebe started her A levels this year and is studying German, French and History.

Phoebe started riding at age four!

Phoebe’s first pony who she competed in dressage at Pony Club level was a 13hh, New Forest pony named Beau.

Phoebe hopes to represent Great Britain at an Olympic Games in the future!
