More readers’ rocking riding schools! We asked you to tell us about your fave riding schools – and some are in June PONY. Here are other fabulous riding schools nominated by readers

There were just too many raving reviews of the riding schools you think rock to fit into June PONY mag, so we've squeezed in the best of the rest right here!

Awesome ponies

Pippin Equestrian in Gillingham is the best riding school ever because their ponies are awesome. They’re all so speedy and well trained. My favourite teacher is Micol because she is so joyful and always gives us a challenge.

The riding is amazing! We do all kinds of stuff, from gymkhanas and competitions, to races against each other in lessons – and in one race we had to mount up by ourselves and the horse I was riding kept on moving. It was so funny!

Encouraging instructor

My riding school totally rocks. The riding school horses are an absolute dream to ride. From beginners to the advanced they cater for everyone. In March I managed to jump two feet! I love jumping but we never do much as we are mainly concentrating on our flatwork. My instructor is the best as she really encourages us.

Amazing ponies!

My riding school rocks because they have the most amazing ponies! All the staff are very friendly and always try to make the most of our lessons, especially when we play games and do confidence exercises! The ponies are so patient and are a pleasure to ride!

Best shows!

I think Cheshire Riding School really rocks! The ponies are fab! My riding instructor is awesome! The shows held there are the best! What more should a riding school need? At Cheshire Riding School they have a gorgeous roan called Jasper. He is the bravest pony I’ve ever known, he really is one-in-a-million! He gets really fast when jumping but that makes him fly over the jumps. I’ve even celebrated my birthday there but Jasper ate most of my cake!

The horses teach us!

Hi! My name is Savannah and I'm hear to tell you about the stables I go to. It is called Westway stables. It is in London and I find it the best stables ever, the staff and the helpers are so nice. It is really special because the horses teach us what to do. It has great prices, great horses and great riding instructors. I think it deserves to be in the PONY Mag hall of fame because people who have left Westway to own their own horses have turned into fabulous riders. You can also go for hacks on Wormwood Scrubs. They teach you so much in a good way.

There are loads of ponies, including Star, a 13hh liver chestnut, Tic Tac, a dun 12.2hh, Jack a 14hh bay gelding, Missy, a 12.3hh dark bay mare, Strider, a 13.3hh bay, Gypsy a 15hh piebald mare, Dion a 12hh strawberry roan gelding, Meme a 15.2hh liver chestnut mare, Gib, a 14hh palomino gelding, Katie, a 13.3hh chestnut mare, Jazmine, a black 14hh mare and Charlie, a 13.1hh chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail – and there are loads more! Our instructor, Sharon, is the best and always puts us on the best horses!

My riding school is the best ever because...

1. The horses are NOT push button ponies. Some people might say this is bad but I think it’s he only way to learn to ride.

2. The instructor is amazing! I have learnt soooooo much with her and she always makes sure you are safe and confident, while still having loads of fun!

3. All the people there are really nice and support each other. Everyone knows all of the horses and their personalities, plus anyone who wants to can help on the yard.

THREE GREAT REASONS WHY NORTH MANOR ROCKS!

My riding school is the best in the whole world...

...because they always care for the horses and riders, there are also cats and dogs that hang around, too. The riding school I go to is Dykehead in Avonbridge and I love it! My riding instructor is Holly, she is lovely and encourages us to do are best. My best friend Kirsty goes there too and she also loves PONY magazine!
