114 is a very special number right now at PONY Mag HQ. That's because it's the number of days it took you PONY Mag fanatics to snatch up every single copy of the PONY: The Annual 2010!

It's a heartwarming story...

It all began more than a year ago! Team PONY - aka Janet, Penny, Lucy and Jamie - began thinking up some great ideas for the annual. And it wasn't easy - you're a tough lot to please!

Then press week arrived! Team PONY found themselves at the office at the crack of dawn, with sleeping bags at the ready in case an all-nighter was required. Penny didn't even have time to warm up her soup at lunch, which meant cold baked beans for a week. The things we do for you...

But the Annual was finally completed - hurrah! It was an exciting day when it finally arrived at PONY HQ, and then we were told how many there were. Hmm. The entire office spent a whole afternoon unloading stacks of Annuals out of a lorry that had travelled all the way from Italy! It was hard work, but we got there - and it was all worth it when we saw just how amazing the Annual looked!

December 15, 2009 was a very important day in the PONY office - and for you readers! It finally went on sale and also hit the stands at Olympia, where you pony-mad peeps couldn't wait to snap it up!

Round-the-world trip, anyone?

And it just kept on selling... Until now! That's right, the second-most-important day in the PONY calendar finally arrived on 7 April, 2010, when Team PONY wiped away a tear and bid a sad farewell to the last EVER copy of PONY: The Annual 2010.

Well... apart from a few that were popped onto a plane bound for Australia, for pony-mad peeps down under. So if you missed out, you still have a chance to grab a copy - you'll just have a bit of a way to travel.

Yup, that's right! Team PONY has already started working on next year's Annual. We've packed our sleeping bags and stocked up on baked beans to make sure PONY: The Annual 2011 is the best ever!
