Hello all! Spring has definitely sprung, and I'm glad it's warmer because Kate has been leaving our rugs off most of the time. Don't get me wrong, we ponies appreciate our rugs in the winter when it's cold and wet, but as soon as the weather turns, we can't wait to get 'em off!

Mind you, I don't suppose it'll be long before Colonel starts wearing his fly rug. He suffers from sweet itch y'know, so Kate likes to keep him covered up early in the spring before the midges and flies start to attack! I quite appreciate having my fly mask on in the summer. Okay, I know it looks pretty ridiculous, ­ especially since the ears are soooo long it must have been made for a donkey, ­ but it does keep the pesky flies out of my eyes.

Not much new been happening here at the field. Penny pops down to ride when she fancies it (the cheek of that girl, honestly!) and she got me roped into going another one of those video clips with her the other day. Have you seen it? I look pretty darn gorgeous don't I? Well, I do!

Actually, Penny was prattling on to me about something really exciting that we are going to do together. I couldn't tell you right now what it is though, 'cos I wasn't really paying much attention. I could smell the mints in her pocket so I was too busy trying to relieve her of those at the time! Anyway, next time she's here I'll pay a bit more attention then let you know what this exciting thing is all about!
