What's that all about, then?

The Royal Tattoo is an action-packed evening of military entertainment at Windsor Castle - it's so popular, even Her Majesty The Queen shows up! During the day, it's the Royal Windsor Horse Show, but when the sun goes down and the stars come out, the showground undergoes something of a transformation... The Tattoo showcases ceremonial displays and military bands, plus arena action displays!

Now in its third year, the Tattoo is a not-for-profit event supporting the Royal British Legion - this raises funds to support soldiers and their families who are serving, or have served on operation in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pretty important stuff!
