The boys get snowed in!
The paddock is totally snowed in! How are Soloman and Duggie coping? Read on to find out.
When I woke up the other day, I thought I'd gone to heaven! Brilliant white all around me, half blinding me in the morning sunlight. I very quickly realised that it was just snow, but boy, I've never seen snow as deep as this before!
Solly spent the morning panicking that the snow was going to get so deep that he would be buried - didn't spare a thought for poor old Colonel! Luckily, Colonel is absolutely fine, although we can only see his body and head, not his legs!
Kate brought us tons of hay to keep us warm, and we're all wrapped up in thick rugs, even Colonel has a miniature rug, despite having a coat that a woolly mammoth would be proud of!
The snow's actually quite good fun when you get used to it. I've had a good old 'boing' around the paddock, testing how high I can flick the snow with my heels. Solly won't join in though, he just keeps hoping it doesn't get any deeper! Silly pony!
Take care,
Duggie x
