Now let's talk about the mag. This is the new issue of PONY, the January issue. It's in the shops now and as usual it's packed full with loads of really helpful horsey advice and loads of cool stuff, too.

We've got some great new series for you for 2010. There's a new riding series on lateral work with the first feature being how to ride shoulder-in.

We've also got some great new pole work exercises for you to try ­ why they're really good for your pony and why you should give them a try.

And as well as that we've got a new tack, equipment and bitting series with the first one being on the double bridle.

As well as that, we've got the most amazing, A3 size, pull-out year planner for 2010. It's fantastic! There's space for you to write all your riding goals for 2010, plus space for any shows and events you're going to.
