Well, Mum was very unimpressed with me dripping all over the carpet after my fishing lesson last week. She made me scrub the carpet for what felt like hours to get it clean again, and worse than that, I had to listen to Charlene practising the violin, too!

Argh! It's enough to make anyone go mad! Thankfully, I managed to escape once Mum thought the carpet was clean, but the weather has been so rubbish that I couldn't do much at all. My mate, Baz, and I just ended up in town, eating cakes and watching everyone get soaked! I do love cakes though, so it wasn't too bad.

I might try and book a holiday before Christmas - escape the gloomy weather. Where do you think I should go? Baz reckoned Jamaica! I'm not sure my budget can stretch to that though, so maybe somewhere in Europe... let me know what you think.

Anyway, I've got to dash. I can see a big storm cloud coming over, and Mum's yelling at me to get the washing in!
