Trot up, trot back, trot up again...
Phew! I've only just recovered!
Hi!
My New Year's Resolution, well, my new July resolution I suppose I should say, is to blog more. Penny tells me she gets emails from my adoring fans if I don't blog regularly enough so I'm going to try to blog every Friday. I know, I know... I'm soooooo good to you guys!
But before you say it, I know... it's not Friday. I WAS going to blog on Friday but I was so exhausted after Penny and Lucy had 'popped in' that I needed an afternoon siesta!
Don't get me wrong, I love it when they come to visit but Friday was so hot and humid that I really wasn't up for doing much. So when I saw Penny in hat and boots and holding my bridle I thought we were going for a bareback ride! Result I thought... I just fancy a nice stroll through the woods, and if Penny wants to leave the saddle behind, that's cool with me!
However... this was not to be the case...
Instead, Penny wanted me to trot up and down the drive, like 200 times! Okay, not 200 but surely once is enough! Lucy was taking pics and kept asking Penny to do it again. I think Penny was even less keen than me – just between us, right, I think she's a little unfit!
Just when we thought we were done, Lucy wanted to get the video camera out and film the whole thing, too! I mean there's a limit to what a pony can do, right? Of course, being the professional I am, I got on with the job and looked pretty darn gorgeous while doing it. Apparently the feature is all about How to trot up a pony – I'm sure you'll read all about it in PONY Mag soon!
So, that's why I'm blogging today. I've only just managed to get over the exhaustion! But I'll be back Friday, so don't miss it!
See ya - love Duggie xxx
