Kate's gone away for the weekend – hurray! No, no, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Kate. Mainly because she's the one who feeds me! The reason I'm celebrating is becuase Kate being away means no riding this weekend! Result! I'm just going to laze around and bask in the sun all weekend.

Oh, hang on a minute, what if Penny decides to turn up? Oh no, she could so easily ruin all my plans! I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Maybe, I'll play hard to get when she tries to catch me. Although she always brings treats with her so I'm definitely going to want those. Perhaps I could take the the treats then make a run for it. Or maybe a nice relaxing hack with Penny would be nice...

Who am I kidding, I love being ridden! I hope Penny does turn up to ride (only hacking mind you, I'm not into all that schooling lark!) and I hope we jump some logs and have a few gallops. Then I hope Penny gives me a nice cool sponge down then puts me back in the filed whiles I'm still damp so I can have a good old role in the dustiest patch of the field!

Now THAT sounds like bliss!
