Two seconds later, my pony was bucking around the ring!
Then he threw me off and trotted off into the class next to us! I could see from everyone’s faces that they were trying not to laugh! It was so embarrassing! Lucy Morgan, Harrogate

I was riding my friend’s pony, Shadow, around a field. My uncle asked me if I wanted to have a canter, so I did. I was having loads of fun until Shadow started heading for a bush! He wouldn’t stop and ended up bucking me off into the nettles. Everyone was laughing at me, how cringey! Natalie Downie, Bridlington

I recently went for a riding lesson in my smart new, white trousers that looked like jods. My pony, Careese, trotted ahead of the others and I heard them all sniggering at me. After the lesson, I dismounted and Careese sneezed on my trousers. I laughed, glanced at the stain on my bum and saw why the others had been laughing! You could see my bright pink knickers through the thin material of my trousers! Oh no! PONY reader
My most embarrassing moment was when my mum had brought the brand new PONY Mag for me.
She gave it to me when I was grooming my pony. I said thanks and got stuck into reading the first page.
I was about to sneeze, and stuck the mag out in front of me so I didn't sneeze all over it, and didn’t realise I’d stuck it right underneath my greedy pony’s mouth!
I opened my eyes after sneezing and found a huge hole in the corner of my mag! I looked at my pony and she had slobbered-on bits of PONY Mag hanging out of her mouth! Barbar Hedley

One day, I was getting ready to ride Tilly. She always blows her tummy out so it’s really hard to do up her girth.
I finally managed to do it, and I thought it was tight enough. It was a really windy day and, as I put my foot in the stirrup to get on, she spooked in the wind. The saddle slipped round and I fell over! Obviously it wasn’t tight enough! Codie Angel, Cheshire
